Rather than just close and lock Breau's unlocked locker, Roberts makes a big deal about it and goes and gets Jette.
More behavior reminiscent of grade school antics that would get someone to the Principles office and not get someone a raise.
Jette's accounting to Detective Sgt Reppucci is accurate and clear.
There is a video tape from the surveillance system at the Police Department. You can see that it records the moves of Roberts, including when he comes back with Jette and brings the camera and pictures are taken.
Roberts was going after Breau and he used Jette to get there.
Why take pictures? Unless of course there was an ulterior motive.
Phillips condoned Roberts behavior and then rewarded him with a promotion.
Phillips is too incompetent to run a police department.
Roberts past problems in Hinsdale are now our problems in Winchester.
Is Roberts ego so big that he has to undermine people and attack them in order to feed it?
Where does he stop?
What more will we find out about?
What else is Phillips keeping from us and how much do the Selectmen know about?
What else has Phillips hid? What lies and deceit does he cover up?
How much have the Selectmen tried to find out about?
We can no longer afford these Renegade, Robo cops in our town. They are costing us day in and day out.
If this is normal for a police department we need to get rid of them all, then do psyche tests on a brand new set of cops.
Part of the requirement to get hired and get the benefits we work so hard to pay out would be to pass that test and have integrity.
It never stops being amazing what is going on there behind closed doors.
It's time to VOTE for change.

Anywhere else the coworker, police or otherwise, would have simply closed the door, solved the problem and then told the coworker what they did. A thank you would be then be appropriate.
How simple is that? A complaint? Really, Roberts.
Roberts ff you were so offended and so upset the locker was open why didn’t you just close it?
Instead you take pictures? Seems like you might have had an ulterior motive.
The person in charge? Phillips, what kind of atmosphere are you trying to promote? Distrust? Animosity? Backstabbing?
You are so lacking in leadership skills you can’t sit all your boys in blue down and talk to them about not being tattletales and working together?
What kind of leadership skills and supervisory skills does Roberts have? You’re OK with him being a supervisor?
Time to vote for change. I hope I never need to call on you guys.
just because someone is a cop doesn't mean they're honest. Sometimes is just means they can get away with it.
Appalling. 2 cops that make a complaint like this and then do nothing are up to no good.
That’s what you get when you let 3 Chief’s from other towns and county’s pick your police department for you. Likely, these people weren’t given access to the true Chris Roberts and his true self.
Vindictive, demonic behavior and power hungry. Not good traits you want to see from your police. Time to get rid of him and Phillips.
How can the selectmen consider Phillips a chief of police when he can’t even make up his own mind about who should be working under him? He has to go ask outsiders who know nothing about the town or the people who live in it who should be working for him and us?
I used to not be so sure about what was really going in our town. Thanks to these town blogs I have a much better idea.
Our tax money wasted? We have nothing better to do? We don’t have real crime in Winchester for the police to investigate?
Our police officers have so much time on their hands they need to go after each other to have a reason to get a paycheck?
And the Chief knew about this and didn't try to find out what was going on with Roberts and Jette when even THEY say it was accidental?
He didn't find this behavior to be wrong? Unethical? He allows things to escalate?
He excused these so called police officers for taking pictures to use against another police officer in a malicious way, all the while their actions were recorded on video so there is no question about what they were doing or their motives?
And the selectmen? Nothing from them either. Disgusting behavior and examples for our kids.
Geez, Louise. Roberts are you living above your means? Looks like when you pull up your name at Cheshire County Deeds you’ve refinanced quite a few times. Looks like you last refinanced again about a year ago to the tune of $192,000.
Quite an incentive to keep your job. Quite an incentive to make sure you don’t get caught doing anything illegal or unethical so you don’t lose it. Quite an incentive to cover things so you don’t get caught.
Same as before Roberts. you are incompetent as ever. Glad to see we weren't the only ones who saw through you.
